Copal “Amber”
To be categorized as true Amber, the resin must have completely fossilized over a process of 100,000+ years. This Copal or “Colombian Amber” is less than 1,000 years old and has not yet fossilized. Copal will eventually become Amber as it ages and many believe it has a very similar vibration to amber.
