Andesen Labradorite with Amethyst Pendant #529
Description
Red Labradorite (Andesine) Pendant
Red Labradorite, also called Andesine is a relatively new find in the gem world. Andesine was first discovered in South America’s Andes Mountains, which is where the name ‘andesine’ was derived.
It appeared on the market in 2003 and has been the subject of much controversy regarding its origin, treatment and color enhancement. It is still relatively unknown to most people.
Andesine is a feldspar related to labradorite and sunstone, and is considered to hold the metaphysical properties of these stones: grounding, mental clarity, dispel negativity and stress relief.
