Fairy symbolism
The fairy is a magical creature believed to present gifts of beauty, wealth and joy if they are attracted to you. The name is derived from the Gaelic word Sidhe (pronounced ‘shee’) meaning “people of the (hollow or fairy) hills.”
Fairies inhabit thier own magical realm but humans can sometimes spot them in the hills, flowers, streams and woodlands. They are quite masterful in disguising themselves, so one must be patient and respectful in order to meet one.
